Cell cycle analysis. Cells were cultured with IFN-α_2b (10 K IU/ml), PDF (250 μg/ml), or their combination for 72 h, and they were subjected to cell cycle analysis as described in Materials and Methods. IFN-α_2b or PDF alone had little effects on cell cycle phase distribution similar to that in control cells. However, the IFN/PDF combination resulted in significant changes (*p < 0.05) in cell populations in the G₁ and S phases compared to controls, as shown here.
